An Evolution in Design SoftwareThe 2013 Vectorworks line of design software, including Vectorworks Designer, Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Fundamentals and Renderworks, is now available. The 2013 product line contains more than 80 improvements, including new commands and tools. Performance in many areas of the program has also been improved, and examples of this include wall network manipulation, hidden line rendering, changes to Vectorworks Spotlight lighting devices and 2-D navigation of Vectorworks scenes. New file export options provide greater interoperability. Improvements to the program's BIM tools will allow designers to simplify complex BIM tasks. Navigation enhancements increase the speed at which users can move around a drawing. Other improvements include support for custom line types, hyperlinks, align/distribute leader lines and images in worksheet cells.

Hole Diggers Powered by HondaGeneral Equipment will use Honda GX35 all-position, four-stroke engines on its 240 Hole Diggers. The GX35 is an air-cooled, 35.8cc displacement engine that provides 1.3 net horsepower and maximum drilling torque of 50 foot-pounds. The all-position feature of the engine allows the 240 to be operated and stored in any position without causing service issues. Additionally, the four-stroke design provides fuel economy, while eliminating the need to mix fuel and oil.
The 240 is a one-man, hand-held unit intended for digging holes up to 8 inches in diameter. Standard auger digging depth is 30 inches. The available 15-inch-long (381 mm), plain-tube extension can be used to extend digging depth.
The Comfort Zone handle configuration is designed to maximize operator strength while minimizing any kickback experienced during the hole digging process.
