Compact Tool CarriersThe Charles Machine Works, manufacturer of Ditch Witch construction equipment, has introduced two compact tool carriers to its SK line: the SK750 and SK755. Both models have the high-drive track system, which features bolt-on sprockets and wide track rollers for greater stability, longer track life and easy maintenance. Powered by Kubota diesel engines: 24.8 hp on the SK750 and 32.8 hp on the SK755. Two-way auxiliary control foot pedals enable the operator to maintain hydraulic flow to the attachment with the pedal, leaving hands free to control depth and ground speed. Ergonomic operator's station comes standard with dual-lever ground drive controls or the option of a single-lever joystick. Accepts more than 70 attachments.

Universal Skid Steer Adapter for Pin-On LoadersA Universal Skid Steer Adapter for standard pin-on loaders is now available from Worksaver, Inc. to increase pin-on loader productivity by converting to the skid steer attachment. The unit is 54 inches wide and 21.5 inches high and can be paired with standard pin-on brackets or interfacing brackets from Worksaver.
This adapter features an all-welded design, plated handles, springs and locking pins. The universal skid steer adapter allows older loaders with pin-on buckets to be updated to the skid steer attaching method. Operators can easily switch attachments between a skid steer loader and a tractor loader.

Newest Addition to Mini Skid Steer FamilyVermeer completes its family of mini skid steers with the addition of the S450TX. The machine offers a 500-pound SAE-rated operating capacity with a 1,430-pound tipping capacity. The four-pump hydraulic system provides performance and efficiency when powering attachments. A single pilot-operated joystick is integrated into the S450TX platform. It can be customized with choice of engine - Kubota 24.8 hp diesel or Kohler EFI 27 hp gas - and track options - a 7-inch-wide track provides a smaller footprint for tight work areas; standard 9-inch-wide track offers reduced ground pressure for increased flotation and stability. An operator presence system suspends ground drive and attachment motion if the operator steps off the machine.
