This weekend some 8,000 green industry professionals from across the nation will descend on the Columbus Convention Center in search of all that is new at the Central Environmental Nursery Trade Show (CENTS) Exhibition. Attendees make the winter trek because they know what they'll find: best possible pricing on goods, a first peek at new products and trends, access to sought-after speakers and experts, mission-critical business programs and the reputable nursery education provided through The Ohio State University.
"The focus on economics and return on investment we're seeing among CENTS attendees and exhibitors reflects the gratifying recognition of the exhibition's role as a critical business tool," explains Kevin Thompson, executive director of the show's sponsor, ONLA. "We are continually honing CENTS offerings based on the changing demands of our professionals' business needs, and the result is what we'll see this week: a full show and standing-room only presentations on topics that truly impact
green strategy and operations."
CENTS is recognized for its unique ability to draw key industry players as well as small businesses because of the efficiency of the show. Packed with relevancy, CENTS also makes it easy for companies to exhibit and attend the show, making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and ample opportunities are forged to promote face-to-face networking.
The CENTS conference will run January 14-16, 2013 at The Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, only 500 miles from 80 percent of the U.S. population. The CENTS Exposition is the only Midwest-centric venue of its kind for green industry professionals. The conference draws 400+ exhibitors and roughly 8,000 attendees including: growers, independent garden centers, landscape contractors, arborists, and turf and pest management professionals each year.
